TESTIMONIALS
. . . "My husband and I started golf lessons with Gary Kent two years ago. I had never been
very athletic, especially involving anything to do with hand-eye co-ordination and balls. My husband had
played in his teens, but usually shot around 100 or higher and had a terrible slice. I had tried to play a
handful of times over the course of two decades, but was basically a horrible beginner. In less that two years,
my husband's swing looked like it had been taken out of a golf textbook, and he is now a seven handicap. In my
second summer season of golf, and my first year playing competitively, I won not only my club's net championship,
but I also beat out the winners of 29 other clubs to win the nationals. My prize was to play a 9 hole exhibition
match with Carin Koch and Craig Stadler, a true thrill of a lifetime!
When I first started lessons with Gary, my only hope was to be good enough not to hold up anyone on the course. I also
had an old shoulder injury that would get aggravated by a bad swing. In less than two years, Gary has brought me from
what I assume to be around a 45 handicap to around a 19, not to mention instilling in me such a love for the game that I am
now dragging my husband to the course, rather than vice versa. He has created a monster, a true golf nut! My shoulder
injury is also no longer a factor. Gary is a great teacher. He is extremely patient, and will listen to what your goals
are and will help you to achieve them in the fastest way possible. Golf can be a very frustrating game, but with Gary's
help, you'll use a lot fewer four letter words out on the course!"

"Thanks for the great lesson today! I can’t believe
what a difference it made to my game today. I haven’t made contact
like this in a while--I guess it is all in the hips. I shot even par
on the back 9. YOU’RE THE MAN!!!! "

"There
is a unique style to Gary's teaching that I had not seen with other
instructors. He makes it fun to learn, and I am amazed how he
manages to see the small corrections needed to play better golf."

"I really enjoyed the last two sessions
we had. I am looking forward to the next lesson this Saturday
and I am hoping that the weather will be nice. I am going to
share my experience with my friends and tell them to enroll and
experience the wonderful world of golf. Thanks and see you
Saturday."

"My name is Mark Young and I would like to share with
you the wonderful learning experience I had recently with Gary Kent.
I have to preface this with some personal background. I use to
train and race competitively in Triathlons and in so doing was
fortunate to have been coached by some wonderfully technical and
gifted coaches. I also coached Ironman triathletes for 5
years. Because of these training and coaching experiences, I
believe I have a good understanding of what makes a good coach.
One of the keys to coaching is to know enough about the technical
aspects of a sporting activity to be able to see a series of flaws
in the movement and know that by changing only one aspect of the
movement several flaws can be corrected. The second and
equally important aspect of coaching is communication. It is
important for a coach to be able to listen as well as they speak.
It is also critical to be able to deliver a message clearly and in a
way the student will understand. In my opinion, Gary Kent has
both the technical knowledge and communication skills to deliver a
well thought out message to his students in an efficient, clear and
enjoyable fashion. I would recommend Gary to anyone who is
looking to improve their golf game. He keeps it light and at
the same time educational!"

"I
found your style of teaching beneficial because you did not change
every part of my swing. In the past, I have received too much
information and the result is confusion. My impression was
that you worked with my style and showed me that I paused at the top
of my swing, hence no acceleration. Result: I can now
focus on this, improve my distance and then return for some more
instruction."

"When
I took my first lessons from Gary I had never swung a club. He
made it fun for me to learn and I am definitely not a "natural".
Gary is patient and good humoured. He is able to tailor his
instructions to the individual so that even in a group you are
getting "private" lessons. I am amazed at my progress and will
be signing up for another session with Gary. If summer ever
arrives, look for me on the greens."

"Gary
is calm, confident and consistent in his instruction. I know
that the reason for my improvement in the game is because of the
thorough analysis of my swing and corrections made by Gary during
the lessons. Thank you."
Nancy Missouri - Vice Principal (Secondary School)
"After
two lessons, I have seen an improvement in connecting with the ball.
I was never consistent before and this left me very frustrated.
Looking forward to the rest of my lessons."

"Being
a beginner to golf, Gary's instruction help me immensely gain the
basic fundamentals of the game and will certainly use his expertise
again for improvement."
